How your
Here at Sweeter than Honey Doodles we believe in giving every puppy the best start possible. Raising a puppy on a curriculum means following a structured training and socialization plan to ensure they develop into a well-mannered, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog. Instead of just "winging it", a curriculum provides step-by-step guidance on what to teach at different stages of development covering areas like:
Early Neurological Stimulation- This is a set of exercises designed to mildly stress newborn puppies during a critical period of development (typically between days 3-16). ENS is believed to enhance puppies neurological growth, improve stress tolerance, and promote better overall health.
Early Scent Introduction- This is a structured method of exposing newborn puppies (from day 3-16) to a variety of different scents to enhance their scenting abilities and neurological development. This paired with ENS listed above is beneficial for improved scent recognition, enhanced brain development, increased curiosity/confidence, and better adaptability.

10 Step Handling Exercises- These exercises are designed to gentle expose puppies to human touch in various ways, helping them become comfortable with handling. This is crucial for future grooming, veterinary care, and general interactions. These exercises include: touching the ears, touching the paws, touching the tail, touching the mouth, touching the nose, and touching the belly, the back and spine, legs, collar/neck, and holding the puppy in different positions.
